Assessment and Reports
The teachers are continually assessing the children’s learning. At the end of Year 2,
teachers give each child a National Curriculum Level based on assessment made throughout
the Key Stage.
The average seven year old will be working at Level 2b in the National Curriculum. Annual
written reports will be given to parents in the Summer Term.
Parents’ Evenings are held during the Autumn Term and the Spring Term to give parents the
opportunity to discuss their children’s progress with the class teacher.
The table below is a summary of the National Curriculum Assessment results of pupils in our
school compared with national results in July 2014 (awaiting official results for July 2015).
