We will not tolerate racist or sexist
comments. Name calling, bad language or
violent behaviour is unacceptable at any
time.
If you have any concerns your first port of
call is the class teacher. Where behaviour
does not improve the Headteacher will
write to parents and they will be invited into
school to discuss a positive plan to address
the issue.
Anti-Bullying
Bullying is a systemic and deliberate act,
not necessarily a one off. We take any
allegations of bullying very seriously and
make a full and fair investigation into any
allegation. Parents are fully involved in the
process.
Both victim and perpetrator will be
supported. Sanctions will be applied
and if any pupil does not respond to the
programme it may be necessary to have
a period of exclusion. Given the age and
understanding of the children this sanction
is not used lightly but is available to the
school.
Our school rules are simple to understand
and we expect all children to follow them.
We hope that all parents will support their
child and the school by upholding our rules.
Photographs and video
From time to time we photograph or
video record your children taking part in a
variety of school activities. Some of these
images may be displayed in public
places around the school building.
We may also use them in promotions of the
school e.g school prospectus or website.
Parents give written consent for images,
video or work of their child to be published.
Inclusion Policy
We recognise that some pupils may
experience specific difficulties related to
accessing the curriculum, education and
physical environment. We will ensure that
pupils with disabilities receive the same
standard of education as non
disabled pupils.
