Nursery
Nursery is for children who are three years
old before or during the academic year.
It is part time and there are 26 places in
the morning session and 26 places in the
afternoon session.
Applications are on a first come first served
basis and can be made, proving the child is
two years old within the academic year
Reception
To apply for a place in Reception your
child must be 4 years of age before 1st
September. Reception is full time
and starts in September each year.
We have 60 places and the admissions are
coordinated by Liverpool Children’s
Services Admissions section.
Admissions
All applications for a place in Reception
are made through the local authority.
Applications are made online at: http://
liverpool.gov.uk/
The criteria for admission is:

A child with a Special Educational
Need where the school is nominated to
meet that need.
•
A child looked after by the Local
Authority and the school is
nominated to meet their need.
•
Children who have an older sibling
already attending the school or the
associate Junior school.
•
Distance from the school.
•
Parents must complete the application
form and state three schools in order of
preference.
Other Admissions
Forms are available from school and an
appointment will be made with the
Headteacher prior to the offer of a place.
Classes
There are 2 classes in each year group.
They are mixed ability, of equal status
and follow the same curriculum. Maximum
number of pupils in each class is 30.
