Lister Infant School &Nursery
Children’s University
From this year, Lister Infants are
participating in the Children’s University.
Children attend clubs and activities and
accrue credits. The children can achieve
bronze, silver or gold award depending
on how many credits they earn. The
certificates are usually presented at a
graduation ceremony.
Parent council
At Lister Infants we work hard to involve all
stakeholders in the development of the school
and to improve communication between the
school and parents we have set up a Parent
Council.
Our Parent Council is intended to provide
a forum at which parents can express their
views and provide an additional means for
the school to consult parental opinion. The
establishment of a Parent Council gives
parents a regular opportunity to express
their opinions, raise concerns and feel more
involved in the development of the school.
School Council
At Lister Infants we believe all pupils should
have a say in how our school operates. The
school council is a group of children elected
by their peers to share their views and
opinions. The school council meets regularly
and discusses a range of subjects, some
subjects raised from staff, Governors or by
the children themselves.
